Come explore some new ways to use your favorite FabMo materials in a fun and supportive group setting. Sessions will be held on site at FabMo and space is limited. Be sure to sign up early to reserve your spot.
To sign up for a workshop, click on the workshop name or the relevant photo. Add the desired seat quantity to your shopping cart and go through the checkout process. After you place the order, a FabMo order confirmation will be e-mailed to you.

Workshop Liability Waiver: All workshop participants will be required to agree to the terms set forth in our workshop liability waiver during the sign-up process.
Cancellation Policy: Advance payment for FabMo workshops is required to secure your spot. In the event you have paid and cannot attend, reservations may be transferred (i.e., find a friend to take your place). In lieu of that, payment may be applied toward a future workshop or considered a donation to FabMo. There will be no refunds or credits for cancellations 48 hours or less before the workshop takes place. In the event of a workshop cancellation (e.g., if we do not have a minimum number of participants signed up), all paid workshop fees will be refunded.

Learn the basics of English paper piecing (EPP), a hand-sewing technique that typically uses simple geometric shapes to form complex patterns in quilts. In this class, you will learn how to use this technique to make a simple star ornament, and receive instructions on how to construct a more complex 3D star. Randa is an experienced teacher who has taught several EPP workshops for local quilt shops and guilds (and won several major awards for her EPP quilts and ornaments!).
This class is appropriate for anyone over 15 with basic hand sewing skills. The fee is $75, which will include all the materials you need to make a 2D star ornament, plus a take-home kit containing instructions and pre-cut card stock pieces for a 3D Moravian star ornament. You have the option to bring your own quilting-weight cotton fabric to use in the class. Fabrics with symmetrical patterns work especially well for this project!
